Blackberry Storm 9500 Features Demo Video From Vodafone
Here is a quick run through of the features covered in the video demo of the BlackBerry Storm.
BlackBerry Storm - The Power To Touch
The web browser for the BlackBerry Storm is going to draw obvious comparisons with that of the iphone but from the video it appears to be a good browser that allows access to normal web pages rather than relying on specific mobile websites for content, which is of course what everybody wants. The ability to zoom in and out of a page, plus clicking & dragging to scroll around zoomed pages make browsing on the Storm simple.
BlackBerry Storm - The Power To Connect
The BlackBerry Storm’s camera looks easy to use in the video and the ease with which pictures can be sent by email to friends is highlighted. There are clear shots of the keyboard being used for email and instant messaging and it looks good in action. Some more shots of the keyboard are shown with a demo of the Instant Messenger application (AOL). A route finder demo is shown as part of the maps application, which exploits the GPS capability of the Storm phone.
BlackBerry Storm - The Power To See
The video playback on the storm looks great on the high resolution screen and the footage is of Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton in action around an F1 circuit.
BlackBerry Storm - The Power To Hear
A brief sequence shows the Vodafone music store for the first time here. There is an interesting shot of the menu interface for ‘top tracks’ , which is a scrollable list of icons that fade in and out as the user navigates through the menu.

Does anyone know if the Storm will allow you to view PDF’s and zoom in (so you can actually make sense of it)? If I zoom in on my Curve, I just see a blurred version of the PDF. I just put down my deposit on for the Storm, for pick up tomorrow morning. Can’t wait
