So the wait is almost over for the highly anticipated new BlackBerry Storm, which is due to hit UK stores very soon. There are whispers it will be available to buy as early as October but watch this space because we’re hearing that an announcement from Vodafone is imminent – potentially mid-September. That’s right, a new BlackBerry, conveniently named Storm, to play with as the British sun makes way for the clouds and rain of the winter. Let’s hope it’s going to be well worth the wait!
BlackBerry Storm – a Closely Guarded Secret!
Hype surrounding the arrival of the new BlackBerry Storm has been building for a while but it seems RIM and Vodafone are determined to keep it a closely guarded secret. Faithful BlackBerry fans are expecting nothing less than a polished piece of hi-tech wizardry to rival the more dated and slated iPhone, and from what we’ve been hearing the new BlackBerry Storm is going to deliver on all fronts.
BlackBerry’s Answer to the iPhone?
The BlackBerry Storm promises to take mobile phone technology to yet another level. Many independent reviews of Vodafone’s last offering, the BlackBerry 8800 Smartphone, showed how it blew its competitors out of the water and as we’ve been hearing, the new Storm mobile is going to be Vodafone’s answer to the iPhone. Only we’re hoping it’ll be hotter, slicker and, unlike the iPhone, it will do everything that a high-spec phone ought to do. Surely, that’s not too much to ask, is it?
Reported Features of the New BlackBerry Storm
The new BlackBerry Storm mobile rumour mill has been turning for months so here you’ll find some reported features which look set to satisfy even the more hardened hi-tech junkie’s appetite.
I’m keen to hear from any of you who have further info or inside scoops. I’m always looking for more information to feed my curiosity until the eagerly awaited release of the new BlackBerry Storm – a 3G storm in a teacup – I’ll have a cuppa!
